What kind of floor we custom-make for you

We produce made-to-measure floors from reclaimed oak in various styles. From calm to distinctly lived-in, neatly planed or deliberately with visible history. You choose the look; we select and process the wood into a stable floor that will last for years.

  • Planks – Wide plank floors with character, lengths and widths tailored to the space.
  • Herringbone – Classic or modern, also as EASYLOX herringbone parquet for quick installation and less waste.
  • Chevron – Angle and dimensions to suit, for a graphic, timeless look.
  • Pattern floors – For example Versailles or block pattern for a distinctive, historic character.
  • NOVA Floor – Duo-plank construction with a reclaimed oak top layer for optimal stability. See a concrete example: Solid becomes NOVA floor: upcycling into a new floor.

Why choose reclaimed oak floors

Reclaimed oak floors combine sustainability with a unique appearance. For more background, see Oak as a wood species: properties and appearance. You’re not only choosing lower CO2 and less waste, but also a floor with a visible story. The old oak has naturally aged over time, creating depth in color and structure. In our workshop we select the wood, remove imperfections where needed, and finish the surface in your desired color and tactility. This way you get the charm of reclaimed oak with the technical assurance of a modern, dimensionally stable floor. Circular where possible, new material only where necessary. For inspiration from our circular wood stream: HERSO floors: reclaimed wood materials with character.

Underfloor heating and technical details

Our NOVA Floor is a duo-plank with an approximately 12 mm plywood base and a 4 mm oak top layer from reclaimed material. This build-up is dimensionally stable and suitable for underfloor heating and cooling with the correct build-up and climate conditions. We can also supply pattern floors such as herringbone and chevron in this construction. EASYLOX herringbone parquet speeds up installation, reduces cutting waste, and is suitable for renovation and new-build. We advise on thicknesses, widths, laying patterns and the right underlay so your floor functions comfortably, quietly and efficiently.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reuse a glued wooden floor?

Often yes. Solid or duo-plank floors that are glued down can usually be taken up and sawn and planed by us into new top layers for a NOVA Floor. Feasibility depends on adhesive type, remaining thickness, damage and contamination. Send photos or schedule a survey, and we’ll quickly assess whether your floor can get a second life. How long does an oak floor last?

A well-produced and maintained oak floor lasts for decades. By choosing a duo-plank construction, an appropriate finish and a stable indoor climate, the floor remains dimensionally stable and repairable. Superficial wear can be touched up locally or completely refinished, so the floor can last for multiple generations.

What does a solid or duo-plank oak floor cost per m²?

The price depends on the origin of the wood, grading, pattern, finish, thicknesses and project size. Because we build fully to measure, we work with quotations based on your wishes and the technical situation.
